PWX 2016 Tennis Outing & Mixer

Your Minnesota Chapter tennis enthusiasts are excited to bring back an old tradition with an afternoon tennis mixer and social at the University of Minnesota’s Baseline Tennis state of the art 22-court Facility in Minneapolis.

This casual doubles social is geared for players who play occasionally or regularly and want to meet others from around the nation who are passionate about the game of tennis.  The format will feature a social rotational doubles format, and will be held on the newly resurfaced U of M courts with a backup option indoors if the weather is uncooperative.

A limited number of demo racquets will be available for use.  Tennis balls will be provided for each court.  Please note: Only flat soled non-marking shoes allowed.  No running, cross training or trail shoes allowed.

Following our matches, participants are invited to a post-game social at the Loring Pasta Bar(former hangout of Bob Dylan) in Dinkytown, USA, just three blocks walk from the courts.  We’ll return to the Convention Center around 8pm.

Registration is $30 and includes transportation to and from the event venues.  Beverages at the post-game mixer not included.  Registration limited to 30 players.
