Leadership Academy

The APWA-MN Leadership Academy provides the practical knowledge, tools, and skills you need as a public works professional to effectively manage people and situations and to meet complex policy and fiscal challenges you face. Designed to boost your effectiveness as a public works manager and grow your leadership expertise, topics covered include personnel management; communication; conflict resolution; technical skills; management; and navigating relationships among federal, state, and local governments.

The Leadership Academy will not be offered in 2025-2026. Email APWA-MN to be added to the notification list for the 2026-2027 Leadership Academy.
