First-Ever APWA-MN YP Prairie Seed Collection Recap

On September 29, 18 APWA-MN members joined in the first-ever APWA-MN YP Prairie Seed Collection Event at Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve in Savage. It was a perfect fall afternoon for exploring one of Three Rivers Park District’s beautiful prairies. With less than 1% of Minnesota’s natural prairies remaining,* these seed collection efforts are critical to maintaining and restoring prairie sites.
