The weather was beautiful on a recent Sunday afternoon in late July when more than 20 APWA-MN Chapter members gathered to watch our own Saint Paul Saints take on the Gary Southshore Railcats. Chapter representatives and their families tailgated in the parking lot before the game, sharing burgers, chips, and a few beverages. 

Jim Owens, Boyd Paulu, Nick Egger, and Lane Christianson were selected for a tire race around the bases. Lane stole an early lead, but because he was not paying attention (i.e. running through the two finishing pylons), Jim snatched the victory away and left with a SA gift card for his efforts.
