The Nominating Committee, consisting of the Past Presidents, will be meeting in early August to confirm who will be on the ballot this fall for the 2025 APWA-MN Executive Committee.

The Nominating Committee identifies members and receives applications of those willing to serve as directors and as Secretary/Treasurer. Any member may submit a nomination to the committee by Thursday, August 1 for consideration. Director terms are for two years, and the Secretary/Treasurer position is for one year.

The following positions are scheduled for election this fall:

• Secretary/Treasurer (must have previously served as a Director) (currently Mark Hansen, City of Coon Rapids)
• Director – Manager/Engineer (currently Phil Olson, City of Minnetonka)
• Director – Superintendent (currently Tim Behrendt, City of Bloomington)
• Director – Vendor/Contractor (currently Jim Grothaus, Cemstone)
