Favorite Vacation you’ve been on:  My family went to Red Rocks Park in Colorado when I was 15, it was quite breathtaking (metaphorically because it was so beautiful and literally because of the elevation difference!)
Hobbies/Extra-curricular activities:  Photography – I’m an avid night urban photographer. I like to highlight how things that we civil engineers build can make the world a more beautiful place, and have been in four galleries in Minneapolis in the last 2 years.
At some point in my life I would most like to:  Travel to Ireland. Being the birthplace of celiac disease (which I have), and some of my ancestors, not to mention it being a beautiful country, I think it would be a great trip!
Is there something about you that we would find surprising?  Being a photographer and having celiac disease are my go-to surprising things, so see the other questions for the answer to this one!
Words of wisdom to share with the membership:  Encourage your younger staff to get involved with professional organizations – it’s scary for younger staff to take the first step, so inviting them to an outing is a great way to introduce them to a professional organization!
