APWA Young Professional Spotlight
Joe Jurewicz, Team Leader, MSA Professional Services
Joe is an active member of the APWA-MN Outstate Development Committee in Duluth, MN. Although his winters are currently snow filled, Joe grew up in Boca Raton, FL (just south of West Palm Beach) and has fond memories of trips to Savanna, GA. He has been working in the engineering field for 16 years and besides the standard stereotype of being a “nerdy” engineer, he believes being a Star Wars fan is the nerdiest thing about him (May the 4th be with you!).
Some other fun facts about Joe include:
- Joe is an avid Wisconsin Badgers fan (his alma mater).
- He was excited to be involved in the 2012 flood recovery efforts in Duluth.
- His favorite food is BBQ and will try cooking about anything he can at home.
