Mark your calendar for STEM Day at the State Fair! For the seventh year in a row, the Minnesota State Fair starts with a celebration of hands-on science, technology,engineering and mathematics (STEM) activities and engaging stage performances in Carousel Park, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.,Thursday, August 25.

This year's STEM Day includes many returning favorite exhibitors (see list below) bringing robots, engineering, math and other engaging activities. In addition there will be a number of new participants that will bring air flight, rocketry and student excellence to the event. The stage shows include the Flying Gizmo show of the Museum of Flight, Seattle, the Science Museum of Minnesota, the University of Minnesota's Physics Force and the U of M's Raptor Center.

This is a great opportunity to demonstrate to a broad spectrum of Minnesota youth and parents what STEM fun looks like and how important it is to their future and the future of Minnesota.
