Chapter Volunteers Pack Food For FMSC

By Sarah Rippke, Chair, Awards Committee; Communications Committee

Thirty-four volunteers, including members of APWA-MN and their family members, met March 26 in Chanhassen to assemble and pack thousands of meals for Feed My Starving Children (FMSC).

FMSC is a Christian non-profit organization "committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit." The approach is simple: volunteers hand-pack meals specially formulated for malnourished children, and send them to partners around the world where they’re used to operate orphanages, schools, clinics, and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty. FMSC for has reached more than 70 countries in their history.

Thanks to all the members, and family members, who participated in this volunteer event!
