Chapter Volunteers Pack Food at FMSC Event
Despite the weather, 54 APWA-MN volunteers gathered at three Feed My Starving Children locations on March 27 (Eagan-40 people; Chanhassen-6 people; and Coon Rapids-8 peope) to pack food for the organization.
According to their web site, Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and FMSC ships these meals to nearly 70 countries around the world.
