Have a question about the Minnesota Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA)? Chances are it's been asked before! Check out our frequently asked questions, by category, below.

1. How can I find out when new events and content is posted online?

The APWA-MN Chapter will periodically send a Recent News email to all chapter members that summarizes the latest content and includes links to the website for more information. We will use the email address that you list in your APWA National Profile, so please check your APWA National Profile to make sure you list the email address that works best for you. If you’re not sure whether you have a valid email address, log in to your APWA National Profile or contact Pat Schutrop.

2. Is the APWA-MN Chalkline newsletter still being published?

Much like other print media in today’s rapidly-changing world, the APWA-MN Chapter's Chalkline newsletter has evolved into a web-based, multi-media experience. The Chalkline served our chapter well for many years as countless members have contributed their time and energy to make it a success.

In 2012, as a first step in the evolution, the Chalkline was published as an electronic newsletter that was emailed to members four times a year. Although this process worked well and eliminated printing and mailing costs, it fell short in providing members with the expediency, technology, and resources they deserve. So the newsletter's collection of news and information will now show up as latest content on the redesigned APWA-MN Chapter website. Members will be notified via regular email alerts that summarize and link to this new content.

The Winter 2013 edition of the Chalkline was the final issue of the newsletter. Archived copies of the newsletter are available in the News section of the APWA-MN website.
