2018 STEM Day at State Fair

Members of the Public Awareness Committee organized a display for STEM Day at the State Fair. On opening day, August 23, members of APWA-MN Chapter helped parents and children understand concepts of intersections and interchanges. The kids, parents and volunteers all had great times as bridges and roadways where constructed from blocks and foam boards.

This was our 5th year at the State Fair, in a continuing effort to reach all generations and teach the importance of public works.
