APWA-MN Fall Conference Welcomes Hundreds of Enthusiastic Attendees

The APWA-MN 2021 Fall Conference and Workshop, held November 17-19 at the Earle Brown Heritage Center, can best be summarized by the phrase “It is SO GOOD to see you! It’s been too long and I’m so happy to be together again!” – shared between friends and colleagues throughout the event.

Over 400 APWA-MN members and friends gathered to network, learn and connect with one another at this year’s fall conference. From the kickoff keynote session by Dr. Abdul Omari on recognizing and responding to bias, through the closing panel discussion on civil unrest and what your community can do to prepare, conference attendees benefitted from the expertise and experience of dozens of outstanding presenters. Additionally, nearly 40 exhibitors were on hand to support the chapter and network with members throughout the event. Fall conference attendees were treated to a special Minnesota chapter 75th anniversary program, created by the APWA-MN History Committee. View the video here.

The Fall Workshop hosted nearly 60 attendees who earned their Winter Maintenance Supervisor Certificate and visited with nearly 20 workshop exhibitors, invited to participate in the workshop for the first time in 2021.
