Originally from Stillwater, Nate (age 34) has worked for the City of Hopkins for almost two years. He previously worked for the City of Minnetonka, WSB, and MFRA.  

He has been an active member of the APWA-MN Chapter for six years and stated: “I have enjoyed my time in APWA and met a lot of great people. I look forward to many more years of involvement with the organization.” 

Nate has been married to his wife Brynn for eight years.  

He identified the current Southwest Light Rail Project as one of the more challenging public works project he has worked on.

Nate indicated that his:

• Favorite musical group is: Metallica.
• Favorite restaurant is: Burch Steakhouse.
• Favorite vacation was: The annual fishing trip to Canada.
• Hobbies include: Trying to make use of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golf, hiking and cycling.
• Before he dies, he would most like to: Tour through Europe.
