Enter the APWA 2016 Congress Logo Idea Contest

October 13, 2014

The APWA-Minnesota Chapter is soliciting ideas for a logo for the 2016 Congress to be hosted in Minneapolis.

Ideas gathered and chosen will be submitted to APWA as we work to formulate the final 2016 Congress logo.

Do not worry! Excuses such as "I'm not an artist," or "I don't have time" shouldn't hold you back.

Being an artist is not a pre-requisite for this event. We have a team of visual artists and graphic designers who will bring your ideas to life to use on upcoming Congress t-shirts, letterhead, lapel pins, conference materials, and much more.

So grab a napkin and start sketching. Doodle a bit during a meeting you’re not sure you need to be in. Send us scrawls on post-its, grid pad or any other paper product, and we'll put your ideas to work for our organization. (If you do have Adobe Creative Suite, and would like to send us an .ai, .eps, .dwg, .psd, tiff, jpeg or pdf, that would be great too!)

As a reference to theme: This is for AWPA 2016 Congress, Best Show in Public Works. We are Minnesota. We should see something in the sketch that plainly describes an image unique to our state. Multiple images would be great.

Starts: Today

Sketches due: November 14. Send electronically to Sue Mason at smason@sehinc.com

Winner (s) will receive one of the T-shirts ultimately created as a result of this effort.
