St. Anthony Village Advanced Oxidation Water Treatment Plant Technical Tour

The Membership and Events Committee has coordinated a tour of St. Anthony’s recently completed Advanced Oxidation Water Treatment Plant. The treatment plant uses ultraviolet (UV) light and hydrogen peroxide together to remove 1,4-dioxane, a contaminant of emerging concern, in the City’s municipal wells. Join us for a walking tour led by design engineer, Greg Johnson (WSB & Associates), and Public Works Director, Jay Hartman (St. Anthony Village), as we tour this state of the art, first of a kind to Minnesota water treatment plant.

The tour is planned for Thursday, April 12, 2018, at 2 pm followed by a networking social hour at the Village Pub in St. Anthony Village. The group will meet at City Hall, 3301 Silver Lake Road NE in St. Anthony between 1:45-2 pm. The tour will begin at 2 pm sharp.

This event is open to members and non-members at no cost, but limited to 50 registrants.
