Blue Lake Wastewater Treatment Plan Tour

Metropolitan Council Environmental Services is hosting tours of two of our wastewater treatment plants in August 2017. The content of these tours will be catered to public works and city engineering staff, with topics including plant capital work, staffing, the impact of the Inflow/Infiltration program, and much more!

The dates of these tours are:

Metropolitan Wastewater Treatment Plant – 2400 Childs Road, St. Paul, MN 55106
Tuesday, August 8, 2017 – 9:00AM to 11:00AM

Blue Lake Wastewater Treatment Plant – 6957 County Road 101 E., Shakopee, MN 55379
Thursday, August 17, 2017 – 2:00PM to 3:30PM

In order to provide a positive tour experience, we do have to limit attendance. Scheduling will be completed on a first come, first serve basis. If you are interested in attending, please respond to Kris Hess at kristin.hess@metc.state.mn.us by July 21.

When completing your RSVP, please include your full name and date of birth so that we can complete a required security review. Note you will also need to bring a government-issued photo identification card with you on the date of the tour. Examples of acceptable identification include a state-issued driver’s license, a state-issued identification card, or a VISA (aka “green card”).
