Water conservation, as well as environmental and regulatory influences, are growing issues that can influence the design and effectiveness of rates and rate structures. At the same time utility managers face decreasing revenues in an era of increasing efficiency in plumbing fixtures, while costs continue to increase. This workshop will provide information on what to consider as you evaluate rates and rate structures that can deliver the necessary revenue for utility operations while at the same time encouraging water conservation.
Who should attend?
Water utility managers, financial staff, public works engineers, planners and all who are interested in learning how to establish water utility rates that encourage conservaion while preserving revenue.
