Advocacy and Media at the Chapter Level—Get Involved!

RSVP Now!

You are invited to attend Advocacy and Media at the Chapter Level Training on December 1, 2016.

APWA National staff will be in town to engage and educate our chapter on Advocacy and Media. The MN Chapter’s MN2050 Committee has made great strides in developing information and tools for use to articulate a compelling and convincing case for infrastructure investment across Minnesota. Advocacy and Media are two critically important tools each APWA Chapter needs to be utilizing. As the best messengers for the public works profession, we cannot afford to be complacent. Come learn the “why” and the “how” of engaging with elected officials and the media to ensure the Minnesota Chapter can increase its effectiveness and serve as a go-to resource to the local communities, policymakers and news outlets.

Please take time out of your day to attend this free training. Signup deadline is November 18. Space is limited. If you are interested, sign up today!
