PWX 2016 Fun Run/Walk

Tuesday, August 30, 2016 beginning at 7 am

Join us for a 5k Fun Run/Walk on the banks of the Mississippi River just a short walk from the Convention Center and hotels. The paved trail loop route winds along and over the Mighty Mississippi on a portion of the Mississippi River Trail. Breathtaking views of both the built and natural environments include the Minneapolis skyline, historic stone arch bridge, the lock and dam, Saint Anthony Falls, and the former historic grain mill sites which was the catalyst for the intertwined histories of the flour industry, the river, and the city of Minneapolis

Participants will receive a commemorative dri-fit tee and post-race goodies at the finish line for the $20 entry fee. The timed race starts at 7:30 am on Tuesday, August 30.
