Public Works Tour: City of Golden Valley

The Young Professional’s group will be kicking off the first of many semi-annual public works facility tours. These tours are intended to showcase the efforts of local public works shops and the innovative things that are being doing at these facilities. Please send any public works, maintenance, engineering, or other staff that you think would benefit from seeing how another shop tackles difficult tasks or to see how our infrastructure is maintained on a day-to-day basis.

The first stop at Golden Valley will highlight custom modifications that staff has been making to trucks and equipment to help make their daily operations more efficient. Golden Valley staff was able to utilize grant funding to pay for portions of these equipment modifications and will discuss how that process went.

Lunch will be provided to those that RSVP to Eric Seaburg and the event will be kept to half an hour.
