Buckthorn Removal - City of Maplewood

Join us for a Buckthorn Bust at Maplewood City Hall Campus on Saturday, 
October 11, from 9 am to noon!

Our service project will focus on hauling and piling invasive buckthorn - a crucial step in woodland restoration. If we have time after buckthorn hauling, we'll take a look at some of the other recently completed sustainable projects on campus such as shoreline restoration, woodland nursery, recently dredged pond, and large rain garden. We'll be off trail in the woods. Please bring gloves and dress for the weather...wear long pants and sturdy shoes (hiking boots or work boots preferred). Bring a water bottle and snack.
