Advanced Human Resources for Public Works

The Minnesota Public Works Association’s Advanced Human Resources for Public Works, administered through Hamline University, works to develop for our students a better understanding of the foundations of public sector human resource management. The certificate program covers topics ranging from authority in public sector relations, developing employees and measuring performance, effective discipline and administering a public works contract.

Details:
  • All students must complete 48 hours of training in seven monthly sessions.
  • One Thursday per month, 12 to 8 p.m.
  • Meals are included.
